Need to get someone out of jail? Want to know how much your bail bond will cost? Every situation is different and there are numerous factors the judge or magistrate takes into account prior to setting a bail amount. Also, your geographical location as well as the economic status of that location can affect your bail amount. In general terms, a bail can be set at around $250 to 1 million dollars or more.

The alleged crime a defendant is in jail for falls into one of two categories: misdemeanor or felony.

The bail for a misdemeanor crime can range from around $250 to around $25,000. We typically charge the standard 10% fee for all bail bonds we write. So in this example, the fee could be from $25 to $2,500 (standard, non-refundable); however, we can charge up to 15% by law.

The bail for a felony crime can range from around $7,000 to $1 million or more. Again, we typically charge the standard 10% fee for all bail bonds we write, but can charge up to 15%. So in this example, the fee could be from $700 to $100,000 (standard, non-refundable).
